From Observatoire du Mas Neuf du Vaccarés it is possible to see birds resting on lake Vaccarès as well as species in flight and feeding in the surrounding marshes. Among the birds you can observe are Greater Flamingo, Common Shelduck, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Penduline Tit, Great Bittern, Glossy Ibis, Bearded Tit and Avocet.

Observatoire du Mas Neuf du Vaccarés is located 20 km south of the city of Arles on the northern shores of lake Vaccarés. The site is on the side of the road and it is easy to park there. Click on the P in the map for directions.
