Description

Neuvry is a very good spot for waterbirds, and also for local rarities. Mediterranean Gull and Black-headed Gull breed in small numbers, as do Red-crested Pochard , Tufted Duck and Black-necked Grebe. Cattle Egret , Great Egret and Little Egret are all regular. Waders are quite common in stopover, especially Tringa sandpipers. Jack Snipe winters in the area.

Little Gull , Whiskered Tern, Black Tern and Osprey are regular. This also a good place for ducks in migration period. Among the recent rarities are Marsh Sandpiper , Squacco Heron , Long-tailed Duck , Red-necked Grebe , Temminck's Stint and Arctic Tern.
