Charming village in the north of the Cote Mâconnaise, the site offers a beautiful diversity of habitats for local fauna.
The Montceaux-Ragny site is made up of limestone grasslands where you find typical bird species such as Eurasian Nightjar, Cirl Bunting, Wood Lark and serves as a feeding area for Short-toed Snake Eagle. In hedges and woodlands you can find European Turtle Dove, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker or even Black Woodpecker. Finally in the village you can observe Common Redstart, Eurasian Hoopoe, Little Owl and more rarely Eurasian Scops Owl.

Français: Charmant village du nord de la côte Mâconnaise, le site offre une belle diversité d'habitat pour la faune locale. Le site est constitué de pelouses calcaires où l'on retrouve des espèces typiques comme l' Eurasian Nightjar, le Cirl Bunting , l' Wood Lark et sert de zone d'alimentation pour le Short-toed Snake Eagle. Dans les haies et les boisements on retrouve la European Turtle Dove , le Lesser Spotted Woodpecker ou encore le Black Woodpecker. Enfin dans le village on peut observer le Common Redstart , la Eurasian Hoopoe , Little Owl ou plus rarement le Eurasian Scops Owl.
