Marais de la Vergne has multiple viewing spots. The area provides very decent marsh species specialties during spring: Bluethroat , Savi's Warbler , Great Bittern , Western Marsh Harrier , Osprey and Glossy Ibis. The area is unfortunately heavily hunted in winter. During this season it is best to visit Terre d'Oiseaux, about 10km north (see www.birdingplaces.eu/birdingplaces/france/terres-doiseaux), although one can have a chance to see Penduline Tit.
The area is accessible by car or bike. There are many places to stop and look over the area, see the route on the map below.
