Description
Observatoire de l'étang des Fougères is a new observatory in the Brenne. The area has a total of 23 ha including 17 ha for the lake. Among the birds you can observe are Purple Heron, Great Egret, Little Egret, Black-necked Grebe, Whiskered Tern, Northern Shoveler, Common Teal, Garganey, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Common Snipe, Northern Lapwing, Great Cormorant and Common Crane. The bird hide can accommodate up to 10 people.

From Lingé take the D32 towards Rosnay, parking area about 2km on the right. Click on the P in the map for directions.
