Private lake where you can see many birds. You can explore Chevigné pond from the public southern road.
The 51 hectares Chevigné pond is an a shallow pond bordered by several vegetation belts, including a fairly large reed bed. This is an important site for birds, serving in particular as a breeding area for several rare or uncommon species. Large groups of ducks can be seen in autumn and winter and many other waterbirds all year round. Some of the nice birds you can see here are Western Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier, Great Bittern, Purple Heron, Little Egret, Black-necked Grebe and Eurasian Spoonbill.
You can explore the lake from the public southern road.
