Large pond in a wooded countryside, hosting nice numbers of diving and dabbling ducks, herons and other migratory birds.
This large pond is home to nice nesting species as Red-crested Pochard, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Gadwall, Sedge Warbler, Purple Heron. In the surrounding bocage, Red-backed Shrike, Wood Lark,Montagu's Harrier are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting Common Teal, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Eurasian Wigeon and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
