Description
Etang David is a place filled with bush birds, especially in springtime: Славка-черноголовка, Южный соловей, Обыкновенная горлица are easy to find, as well as Обыкновенный зимородок and Красноносый нырок on the pond. Woodpeckers can be found on deciduous trees: Большой пёстрый дятел, Малый пёстрый дятел, Зелёный дятел, Желна.
The place is also a nesting area for herons: Кваква, Серая цапля, Египетская цапля can be spotted from the pond side.
Some raptors: Чёрный коршун, Чеглок and with chance Красный коршун and Змееяд are easy to spot hunting around.
Unusual birds like Обыкновенный ремез are possible during a walk across this picturesque little place.
