The protected river forest of Bois de la Bâtie is located in one of the old arms of the Isère in the town of St-Ismier in Isère.
In Espace Naturel Sensible du Bois de la Bâtie the old arms of Isère are surrounded by forest areas (alluvial forest). On one side, a path is set up with a few observation posts. Among the most common species you can observe are Grey Heron, Great Egret, Common Kingfisher, European Bee-eater, Mallard, Great Cormorant and many passerines.

Français: L'ENS du Bois de la Bâtie est situé dans un des anciens bras de l'Isère sur la commune de St-Ismier en Isère. Les anciens bras de l'Isère sont entourés de zones forestières (forêt alluviale). Sur un des cotés, un sentier est aménagé avec quelques postes d'observation. Parmi les espèces les plus courantes, on peut observer: Grey Heron, Great Egret, Common Kingfisher, European Bee-eater, Mallard, Great Cormorant et de nombreux passereaux.
