Description
The old oak forest of Cornée du Der is a nice spot to explore while visiting Lac du Der. Its very different than the rest of the lake. The forest has several species of woodpecker, owls and also many mammals like wild boar and even wild cat (even though they are very hard to find). On the banks of the lake you can see Common Crane in the winter. Especially when the water level in the lake is low in late autumn.
