Description
Point du Van feels like the end of the world. A tiny chapel situatated on a bare rock. Dangerous cliffs and a wild sea. The faraway islands Ile De Sein in the hazy distance. Wonderful on a summers eve. We visited the folk festival at Keriolet that evening. Among the ocean-going sea birds which can be seen at sea and around the cliffs are Kittiwake, Common Guillemot, Northern Fulmar, European Shag, European Herring Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull and Great Black-backed Gull. The heathland, coastal grassland and cliffs are the all year round home of other remarkable birds including Common Raven, Red-billed Chough and Peregrine Falcon.
