Description

Ballastières des Ayvelles is an old gravel pit suitable for ducks stopping over and wintering. The lake is also a dormitory for gulls in winter. Some waders and passerines make a stop here during migration.

Access

Ballastières des Ayvelles is located directly east of the village of Ayvelles. You can park in several places along the road which runs alongside the lake. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
