Description
In Badoran many species are present in this natural area in the heart of the Marais de Poitevin. There will be many Blackcap singing in the hedges. The Red-backed Shrike are not uncommon either. The European Robin, Dunnock and Blackbird will be very present. During the migration period, Song Thrush, Redwing and Fieldfare can be seen. The Meadow Pipit will also be present. Eurasian Skylark will also sing a melody, high in the sky. A pair of Black-winged Kite also nests in the area. The birds often hunt south of the treatment plant. A heron colony has also settled in the middle of the marshes, where Grey Heron, Cattle Egret, Purple Heron and Little Egret nest. The Great Egret and Black-crowned Night Heron often hunt in the flooded meadows.

It is possible to park around the Wastewater Treatment Plant or Badoran. The site can only be visited on foot.
