Description

A large part of the area was purchased by Aage V. Jensen Naturfond and restored. It is is almost permanently flooded but the waters are shallow. Cattle graze during summer, keeping vegetation low. Birds have responded by massing in the area so it is a brilliant spot for birdwatching. During the migration season, large flocks of waders stop off here.
