Description
Fladbro forest is situated by the mouth of the Nørreå stream in the Gudenå river approximately 6 kilometres west of Randers and is a part of a large recreational natural resort. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Great Spotted Woodpecker, European Goldfinch, Song Thrush, European Robin, Great Tit, Eurasian Blue Tit, Eurasian Treecreeper, Wren, Eurasian Bullfinch, Eurasian Nuthatch, Reed Bunting, Blackbird, Eurasian Siskin, Goldcrest and Common Redshank.

Access
The area is close to Gudenåen and about 10 minutes from Randers city centre. Park at Fladbro Kro (a historical inn dating from 1737). Best to explore the area on foot. Biking is possible. Nice picnic area and toilets at Skovhuset (The Forest House) and shelters nearby in the wood. You can reach Skovhuset by wheelchair and hear many birds. Also many infosigns in this area about the geological history of the area/river. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 1,6 km.
