Description

Ornithological Reserve Krapje Djol is located south of the village of Krapje and borders Lonjsko Polje Nature Reserve, the largest still intact flood plain in Europe. Among the birds you can observe in this oxbow near the river Sava are Pygmy Cormorant, Great Cormorant, Glossy Ibis, Ferruginous Duck, Great Reed Warbler, Golden Oriole, Red-backed Shrike, Eurasian Spoonbill, many heron and duck species and birds of prey.

Access

By car till village Krapje or Drenov Bok in Posavina region of central Croatia. From either village 5 minutes walk. Click on the P in the map for directions. At the info point in Krapje you can get information material.
