Description

I often search for birds around the small, peaceful village of Filipovo. The open farmland with its ponds, streams and wooded areas is a great location as it's quiet with many different habitats. Good for birds like European Bee-eater, Red-backed Shrike, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Eurasian Woodcock, White Stork and Black Stork.

Best to park on the side of the road just after driving through Filipovo. Beware of electric cattle fences.
