Description
Birds of marshes and wet meadows are found in the open area such as Bluethroat, Reed Bunting, Water Rail, Great Egret, Northern Pintail, Common Snipe, Spotted Crake, Garganey, Eurasian Curlew, Northern Lapwing, Sedge Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, European Stonechat.
Birds in the semi-open landscape with wood edges are Red-backed Shrike, Common Nightingale, Icterine Warbler, Garden Warbler, Greater Whitethroat, Eurasian Kestrel, Long-eared Owl, Yellowhammer, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Hobby, Linnet. In the older forrest on the sandy hills breeding birds are European Honey-buzzard, Black Woodpecker, Middle Spotted Woodpecker.
