Réserve Naturelle de Claire-Fontaine is a reserve that extends near the sources of the Piéton, a small tributary of the Sambre, and consists of a mosaic of dry and wet environments. The natural pond in the reserve has a bird hide.

Access
The Claire-Fontaine Nature Reserve is located between the Brussels-Charleroi Canal and the E42 motorway, near the village of Godarville, about fifteen kilometers northwest of Charleroi. Pass in front of the Clairefontaine estate in Godarville and head towards Gouy lez Piéton. You can park in the Godarville cemetery car park. Walk along Rue de la Réserve towards Gouy. The entrance is about 400 metres on the left.
