Description
The Vinne is a large natural lake with a rich bird population. In the spring, the atmosphere here is determined by the hustle and bustle of a large colony of Black-headed Gull. Trails winding gently over the water lead you over the Vinne lake and you pass various birdwatching hides. Among the interesting birds you can see here are Great Bittern, Water Rail, Eurasian Teal, Cetti's Warbler, Northern Shoveler, and Little Bittern. Very occasionally Penduline Tit and Black-crowned Night Heron are observed. During spring and autumn migration, this area is also a hotspot for waders.
