Bergelenput has a lake of 9 acres and around the lake are scrub, woods and open areas. There are observation hides along the walking trail around the lake.
Bergelenput is a lake with reed beds and has a surrounding area with various types of forest. The lake supports good numbers of waterfowl, grebes and Great Cormorant. Most of the time raptors like Common Buzzard and Sparrowhawk can be seen. From the bird hide and along the banks Sand Martin, Black-necked Grebe and Common Kingfisher can be seen. And many more. Nederlands: Bergelenput is een meer met rietvelden en heeft een omgeving met diverse soorten bos. Het meer herbergt een groot aantal watervogels, futen en Great Cormorant. Meestal zijn roofvogels als Common Buzzard en Sparrowhawk te zien. Vanuit de vogelkijkhut en langs de oevers zijn Sand Martin, Black-necked Grebe en Common Kingfisher te zien. En nog veel meer.
