Description

The area around the Gralla reservoir in the Leibnitz district is considered a nature and bird paradise: in addition to well-known bird species, ducks and swans, rare birds such as Curlew Sandpiper, Ferruginous Duck, Black-winged Stilt, Squacco Heron and Spotted Crake have been observed.

Stausee Gralla is easily accessible by car or bike. Parking spaces are available. Click on the P in the map for directions. The bird watching hide is located in the immediate vicinity of the parking lots.
