The Pillersee is a lake in the Northern Limestone Alps in Tyrol.
The Pillersee is in the Pillerseevalley near the village of Sankt Ulrich am Pillersee at 835 m above sea level. It is located in a scenic valley between the steep slopes of the Loferer Steinberge and the Schafelberg. I myself was here in the summer. This is normally a time when you don't see many birds. However, here you still see the enough birds and this will only be a lot more in the spring. Among the birds you can see here are Fieldfare, Greater Scaup, Crag Martin, Little Grebe and Goldcrest.
The easiest way is to park your car at the P on the map. Daily rate is 4 euros. The route that is shown on the map is about 2,5 km.
