Description
The Liesingbach is a 30 kilometre long river, a tributary of the Schwechat, which rises in the Vienna Woods, then flows through the city of Vienna and joins the Schwechat in Lower Austria near the city of Schwechat. This part of the river on the outskirts of Vienna has natural banks and a nice biodiversity. Among the birds you can observe are Mandarin Duck, Common Kingfisher, Grey Heron, Grey Wagtail, Short-toed Treecreeper, Long-tailed Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Mallard and Eurasian Collared Dove.
