Description
The Bienenfresser Themenweg (European Bee-eater-trail) near Haslau is located in the middle of the National Park Donau-Auen. There is a loop road through the forest with many stations with different topics, but some highlights along the way are for example an observation tower and a breeding-wall for European Bee-eater. Other possible species to observe are White-tailed Eagle, Grey-headed Woodpecker, European Honey-buzzard and Golden Oriole.

Access
The best place to park the car is in the eastern part of the town of Haslau. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km. For more information about the whole way/area see the link below to the website of the national park.
