Billabong Pond, located in the suburb of Watson along the Roma Mitchell Crescent Parkland, is a peaceful area featuring calm waters and green surroundings. Eucalyptus trees grow around the pond, providing homes for various bird species. The area is especially nice to visit for birdwatching. Numerous eucalypt are present around the pond that are suitable for the Laughing Kookaburra, Superb Parrot, Noisy Miner, Crimson Rosella and Australian King-Parrot. Reedy vegetation is present surrounding the edges of the pond, suitable for the Australian Reed Warbler and the less common Little Grassbird.
