Description

La Savane is a unique area on Reunion Island. Due to the grassy and dry environment with a low vegetation of small trees and bushes birds are easily observed.

Details

Access

La Savane is located southwest of the town of Saint-Paul. There are several access points available. You can park in the Cap la Houssaye car park. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. From there you can explore the area on foot. Note: this is an area without shade and often hot, so remember to take water and covering clothing. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
