Description

The churchyard stopped being used for burials after 1871 due to running out of space. A number of the gravestones, some of which date back 500 years, were lifted and placed down to form pathways in the churchyard. Plymouth City Council have a photographic record of the gravestones and can be viewed at The Box (museum) in Plymouth city centre.

The list of birds is mostly of more common species, but there are some large mature female Holly (Ilex) trees in the churchyard that regularly attract Redwing in Winter.
