The Himeville Nature Reserve is located just eastwards to the small town of Himeville and consists of two dams and wet grasslands around them.
The Himeville Nature Reserve is easily accessible. Visitors can roam freely within the boundaries, the two dams are frequented by waterfowl and the grasslands around them are good possibilities for cisticolas, widowbirds and allies.
Driving along the main road of Himeville, just follow the brown sign leading directly to the nature reserve. The nature reserve is accessible through gates that are open 24/7. The sign at the gates says that various activities are prohibitet but locals confirmed that free roaming is allowed and common practice. Further and more detailed information: see the link below.
