Description

Stoke Woods is a mixed woodland now designated as a Country Park. Being so close to Exeter it can get VERY BUSY especially during Summer and at Weekends. A visit earlier in the day on Weekdays may be better time to visit with a good chance to see Skovsneppe, some other species are Stor Flagspætte and the ever rarer Lille Flagspætte especially during February/March.

The Woods are good for numerous other passerines such as Sibirisk Gransanger, Skovsanger, Løvsanger, Havesanger, Munk.
