The Ridgeway is a prehistoric track and national long distance path. Upland area rising to 800 feet which is good for wintering passerine flocks and raptors.

Description

On the Ridgeway, flocks of Просянка, Вівсянка звичайна, Жайворонок польовий Щеврик лучний, Чечітка мала, В’юрок, Чиж лісовий, Сивка звичайна, Дрізд білобровий and Чикотень may be seen in winter. Кам’янка звичайна and Трав’янка лучна are passage migrants. Occasional Куріпка сіра and hare. Raptors such as Сапсан, Боривітер звичайний, Лунь польовий, Шуліка рудий, Сова болотяна, Підсоколик малий and Підсоколик великий.
