One of Britains most accessible reserves, Sculthorpe is internationally recognised for its wildlife.
Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve is located in the Wensum Valley in Norfolk. The reserve has a mosaic of woodland, fen and reedbed habitats. The area is fully accessible and has boardwalk leading you through various parts of their substantial reserve. There are plenty of hides to enjoy and the visitor centre has toilets and hot drinks. Among the birds you can see are Ластівка берегова, Рибалочка блакитний, Чиж лісовий, В’юрок, Снігур звичайний, Зозуля звичайна, Чепура велика, Пісочник малий, Сіра сова, Сипуха and Канюк звичайний.
Easy access from the A148 by car (Follow the sign posts!) and there is a bus stop at the top of the track (will require a five min walk to the Visitor Centre). Disabled parking available and electric vehicle charging points.
The reserve offers a variety of landscapes (waterways, wetlands, meadowland and woodland) to enjoy wildlife, flora and of course birds! In the warmer months many species of Amphibians, Dragonflies and Mayflies are spotted at the reserve.
