Description

Created in the 1990's on the site of a former reserve - Wath Ings. Has a track record of passage waders, especially in the Autumn. Around 30 species of wader are recorded annually - including a good chance of a rarity. A range of habitats mean a good species list can be built easily in a morning or afternoon. Горобець польовий breed around the centre and the reedbeds have breeding Бугай водяний, Пастушок and Сутора вусата, або синиця вусата. Breeding waders and wildfowl include Чоботар синьоногий, Чирянка велика and Попелюх звичайний and the gull colony is of national importance and includes Мартин середземноморський. A large Шпак звичайний roost generally forms most winters.
