City park in Edinburgh where the central lake is the main attraction. Lochend Loch attracts wide range of waterfowl.
Small city park with an interesting lake. Lochend Loch formerly supplied the port of Leith with fresh water. There is a path around the edge of the lake, with many ducks, swans, seagulls, moorhen, coots, heron all present.
Lochend Park is located east of the city center of Edinburgh. Easily accessible by road. It is close to the main London Road, at the back of Meadowbank Stadium, but surprisingly secluded from neighbouring streets.
