Description

Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Крячок малий and some Крячок рябодзьобий and Крячок річковий. Several wader species, Боривітер звичайний, Сипуха, Синьга, Жайворонок польовий and Коноплянка. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Вівсянка очеретяна, Очеретянка ставкова, Підкоришник звичайний, Плиска гірська, Мухоловка сіра, Чиж лісовий and Пастушок. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.

Village is one mile east of Prestatyn on A458. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The area has 2 viewing platforms, a hide and limited wheelchair access.
