A parkland near Great Missenden with a chalk stream. The wider area is where Roald Dahl was inspired and wrote many of his books.
Abbey Park is located along the river Misbourne, an important chalk stream. A number of birds seen at rivers can be seen such as Плиска гірська and large groups of Ластівка сільська. Also good chance on Шуліка рудий. The range of fauna is often dependent on the flow of the river which can be highly variable over the years.
One can park by Saint Peter's and Saint Paul's Church or along the road opposite the Secondary School. Click on a P in the map for directions.
