Description

The mouth of the Thiène / Zihl Canal into Lake Neuchâtel offers plenty to see. You can walk out onto one of the two stone dams and enjoy a view of nearly the entire lake. A breeding float for Крячок річковий is located to the left, in front of the reeds. During migration season, it's a great place to look for rare birds in the early morning, especially waders and terns. Species such as Крячок чорнодзьобий or Побережник ісландський have been seen at this location. In winter, guests like Крех середній and Турпан may be observed at large.
