Description
The Långfjället Nature Reserve is one of Sweden’s largest. The highest peak is Storvätteshogna, at 1204 m. It has areas of pure primeval forest without traces of forestry. On the moutain plateau it is lovely walking with plenty of birds on top and in dales. Lots of Куріпка тундрова, Щеврик лучний, Сивка звичайна and Кам’янка звичайна. You also find Кукша тайгова (in the coniferous forest) and Коловодник великий (around small bog areas in the forest). And along the streams and rivers the Пронурок біловолий is a common sight. In the lakes and streams you can find ducks like Чирянка мала, Гоголь зеленоголовий and Гагара чорношия.You can also encounter moose, foxes, martens and brown bears.
