The bay near the village Hedesunda is called Hedesunda Fjärderna, a unique landscape, with hundreds of small islands, marshes and ancient woods. The birdlife is very extensive; you’ll find a large variety of Woodpeckers, Owls and you can see Скопа. Among the other birds you can see are Мартин сивий, Крех великий, Орлан-білохвіст, Гоголь зеленоголовий, Гагара червоношия, Журавель сірий and Лебідь-кликун. The are is also the habitat for wildlife such as, moose, deer, beaver, lynx and bear.
