At Kungsbro 212 Bird species have been recorded. Kungsbro is a nature reserve next to the lake of Roxen. At the lake 296 bird species have been recorded. During winter large amounts (hundreds if not thousands) of Чернь чубата, Крижень, and Гоголь зеленоголовий. Among these Крех малий, Крех великий, Лебідь-шипун, Пірникоза велика, Мартин морський, Лиска звичайна, Лебідь-кликун, Свищ євразійський, and Нерозень. In mild winters you can observe hundreds of Гуска сіра, and Казарка канадська. Sometimes Шпак звичайний, Гуска білолоба, and Чайка чубата also winter in the area. Birds of prey like Канюк звичайний, Зимняк, Боривітер звичайний, Орлан-білохвіст, and Лунь польовий can also be seen in the area. And Сірий (Великий) сорокопуд.
During spring large amounts of geese stay in the hundreds on the fields and meadows. In some years Чайка чубата, Гуменник, and Жайворонок польовий are found here. Large amounts dabbling ducks, can be found some of whom breed. Many wading birds like Грицик великий, Кульон великий, Кульон середній, Кулик-сорока, Коловодник звичайний, Коловодник болотяний, and Брижач use the coastal meadows as feeding grounds. From the observation tower you get a good view of the lake. On the lake you can see hundreds of Крячок річковий, Мартин сріблястий and Мартин сивий. Smaller amounts of Крячок каспійський, Крячок чорний, Клуша and Мартин малий can be found from May-September.
Kungsbro has a small colony of Мартин звичайний. Waders like Чайка чубата, Кулик-сорока, Коловодник звичайний, and Баранець звичайний. Other breeding birds are: Нерозень, Гуска сіра, Лиска звичайна, Чирянка мала, and Пірникоза велика. Among passerine birds Очеретянка ставкова, Очеретянка лучна, Вівсянка очеретяна, Жовта плиска and many more breed.
During autumn Щеврик лучний, Пуночка снігова, Чечітка гірська, Щеврик червоногрудий, Припутень use the fields and coastal meadows as resting ground. Calidris-waders often use the coastal meadows when the water levels at Roxen are low. Among these Побережник чорногрудий, Побережник червоногрудий, and Побережник білохвостий are the most common. Баранець малий can also be found. Чепура велика and Чапля сіра are also often found.

Access
The nature reserve is just outside the towns of Berg and Ljungsbro. The area is close to Linköping. There is a parking spot at the birdwatching tower and south of the river Motala Ström at Sjöliden parking spaces can be found. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
