Description

The Lerjan lagoon is an excellent location for flights of small birds in the autumn at times of easterly winds. South Galtabäck is a 10 km long coastal stretch with grazed salt marsh meadows classified as a Ramsar area. Among the birds that can be spotted here are Коноплянка, Жайворонок польовий, Щеврик лучний, Казарка білощока, Гуска сіра, Побережник чорногрудий, Чайка чубата, Кулик-сорока, Лунь очеретяний, Орлан-білохвіст, Свищ євразійський and Гоголь зеленоголовий.

Access

You can access the Lerjan lagoon from Galtabäck harbour where there is a bird tower. You can also walk by the Old Köpstad nature reserve and leave the car South the Old Köpstad village, respecting the rules of the area. Click on a P in the map for directions.
