From the picturesque Puerto de Carril, you can see the nearby Isla de Cortegada. Birds like Крячок рябодзьобий and seagulls often rest on the wooden stakes from the dock. It is not uncommon to see Мартин морський and Клуша. The most frequent are Мартин скельний and Мартин звичайний. You can also see Мартин трипалий and Мартин середземноморський. Also Сула атлантична. The frequency of Баклан чубатий and Alcidae like Кайра тонкодзьоба, Гагарка мала or shearwaters makes the place a special place. The terrestrial birdlife is much less interesting, although it does add species to the watch list.
