At Muladar de Caleruega the tower of an old dovecote has been rehabilitated as an observation tower in front of the enclosure enabled as a dump. From there you can see all kinds of scavengers in great numbers, particularly the Сип білоголовий, but also Гриф чорний, Стерв’ятник білий, Чапля сіра or Шуліка рудий. The attraction of the dump makes them easy to see around the town of Careluega. In front of the observation tower there is also a fenced pond, which offers refuge to small water birds. I have also observed very large groups of Бджолоїдка звичайна in the southward migration season.
