Description
Apart from the nice view (which is typical of the character of the National park), this viewpoint is a good place to see the two most iconic birds of the entire region: Гриф чорний and Могильник іспанський, the former of which nests on the slopes opposite the viewpoint. Apart from these two charismatic species, Лелека чорний, Змієїд блакитноногий, Сорока іберійська, Дрімлюга іспанський and Орел-карлик малий may also be seen.

Access
Easily reached from both Torrejon el Rubio and Plasencia. After crossing the dam over the river Tietar, follow the road, through the pine woodland for a couple of kilometers, the viewpoint is then located on the right side of the road. Check the electricity pylons surrounding the site for Змієїд блакитноногий!
