Description

Namdong Reservoir (남동유수지) is a lake in Incheon where you can observe a number of resident amd migrant birds. Inside the lake, there is a small island which is occupied by the Black-faced Spoonbills. Other species you can observe in this place include Common Greenshank, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Black-winged Stilt, Common Shelduck, Black-tailed Gull, and Saunders's Gull.

Access

You can access by car or public transport. You can get off at Dongmak metro station and walk to the reservoir. Click P for directions. You can make a circular trail but it is better to explore the area from the marked trail.
