Feracare Wildlife Centre is an ideal location for young families, while the kids watch the running cheetahs there is some birdlife to see.
Feracare gives attention to release the sheltered animals back into the wild. You can see both captive and wild animals here. Feracare is located in the dry bushland and features mainly shrubs and low-trunk trees. Here you can spot some nice species such as Grey Go-away-bird, Southern Red-billed Hornbill, Laughing Dove, Red-headed Weaver and Southern Cordonbleu. They also have several Common Ostrich forage on the site.
To reach Feracare, drive to Bela-Bela and get there via Diepdrift road. It can only be reached by car. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
