Hraške Mlake are two ponds surrounded with reeds and trees. The wetland is located in an area of small villages in an agricultural landscape of open fields. At Hraške Mlake you can usually see Пірникоза велика, Лебідь-шипун, Пірникоза мала, Широконіска північна, Водяна курочка, Очеретянка ставкова, sometimes Квак звичайний and Коловодник болотяний. Other birds that can be spotted depending on the season are Зозуля звичайна, Чирянка велика, Чирянка мала, Крех великий, Чепура велика, Гаїчка болотяна, Горихвістка чорна and Кропив’янка чорноголова.

Hraške Mlake is located 15 km north of Ljubljana. Bus connections are available from Ljubljana to the village of Hraše. From the village you can easily walk to the wetland. When you have your own transport you can park right by the pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
