The entire Tràs-os-Montes region is a beautiful, undiscovered area teeming with birds. For example around the village of Loivos where you can find birds such as Одуд, Шуліка рудий, Шуліка чорний, Могильник іспанський, Сип білоголовий, Кеклик червононогий, Даурська ластівка, Горлиця звичайна, Вивільга звичайна and a large colony of Бджолоїдка звичайна.
