Description

Lagoa dos Patos is actually a reservoir. It has the highest concentrations of ducks in the Lower Alentejo. But it's not only ducks, you can also see many herons, waders and birds like Фламінго, Дерихвіст лучний, Крячок білощокий, Крячок чорнодзьобий, Коровайка бура, Ходулoчник and Косар білий. The shore of the lagoon does not have much vegetation which makes it difficult to approach birds. So a telescope can be very useful. The surrounding green patches, olive groves and fields are home to birds like Кеклик червононогий, Сич хатній, Шуліка чорноплечий, Одуд, Бджолоїдка звичайна, сорокопуд південний, Сорока іберійська, Кропив’янка середземноморська, Посмітюха, Вайдаг золотистий, Астрильд смугастий and Просянка.
