Catalão is a rural agricultural area with scattered bushes and open fields. It is a very interesting area to visit when looking for migrating and resident birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Шуліка чорноплечий, Орел-карлик малий, Змієїд блакитноногий, Сип білоголовий, Сорока іберійська, Жайворонок лісовий, Кропив’янка прованська and Кропив’янка середземноморська.
